The Pacific Life Foundation recently presented a generous donation of $7,500 to Child Guidance Center for our Strong Families, Strong Children program, which supports military families and children.
Pacific Life Foundation President Tennyson Oyler presents Child Guidance Center Board Chair H. Kent Falk and CEO Lori Pack with a check for $7,500 in support of Strong Families, Strong Children.
The Pacific Life Foundation was established by the insurance product company in 1984 and has contributed more than $100 million to community and national nonprofit organizations that support a broad spectrum of social needs. Since 2006, Child Guidance Center has applied for and receive various grants from the foundation in support of our Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) program as well as our trauma and child abuse treatment programs.
Thank you, Pacific Life Foundation, for your commitment to improving the lives of youth in Orange County!
Support our military families
Did you know that there are more than 12,000 military-connected children in Orange County, and that number is growing every day? Military families, including the children, are often affected by trauma, substance abuse, combat injuries, post-traumatic stress and repeated deployments. Support and resources for these families is very limited, which is why the Child Guidance Center’s Strong Families, Strong Children program provides military families with counseling, housing, food and legal assistance.
