Virtual Training Course - TF-CBT via Telehealth and TF-CBT with Young Children

The Behavioral Health Training Collaborative* - Child Guidance Center’s Training Department - will provide informative trainings on a variety of mental and behavioral health topics designed for those with little or no previous behavioral health knowledge, as well as accomplished professionals.

Join us for these free virtual trainings entitled TF-CBT via Telehealth and TF-CBT with Young Children. In the first workshop, presenters will discuss the research basis and strategies for implementing evidence-based treatments via telehealth. Presenters will review safety protocols that are necessary for implementing TF-CBT over telehealth and discuss telehealth applications for each PRACTICE component. In the second workshop, presenters will discuss strategies for applying Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to preschoolers. Presenters will review language development in young children and discuss age- and developmentally-appropriate activities for each PRACTICE component.

These online events are for residents and/ or service providers to residents of Orange County, California only.
